The professorship deals with the educational processes, life situations and support needs of children, young people and families in the face of increasingly heterogeneous and digital living environments in which educational and developmental processes take place today.
Within the framework of the professorship, these living environments of children and families are to be researched and theory-based and practical concepts for education, prevention and intervention are to be developed and communicated.
We are looking for a person who represents teaching, research and transfer in degree programmes in childhood education and social work, with particular expertise in:

Appointment as a civil servant is possible, provided you meet the requirements for civil servant status.

In addition to the usual application documents (CV, certificates and references, list of publications and projects, evidence of professional and teaching experience, ideally with evaluation results), please submit two publications relevant to the professorship by 10 April 2026 exclusively via our online application portal.
